Fab Feb Fabu Friday Divas Extd Part 2

If you don’t know me by now,

you’ll quickly learn, I can’t let a good groove get away from me.

Coming fresh off the heels of a successful broadcast

with the first installment for WDMN 101 Radio,

the 1hr time limit just wasn’t enough.

SO, what’s a DJ to do?

Pick up where you left off, and up the ante.

Go on an all out tribal assault, dropping bombs!

There’s a few homages in here,

including a nice 6 track 4 table Rauhofer workout.

Fergie picks up the mix where it was left off and ushers in the assault!

Whitney Houston (Quintessential Diva, RIP) is present with a classic

but with a session such as this one, it’s guaranteed to satisfy.

With a new month upon us, I had a little mix left over from last week.

your run in all this beautiful weather,

or as you enjoy the drive home.

This mix covers a diversified range

from fidget elctro, to dirty dutch just to name a few.

January Jump Off Workout Edition

What can I say?

I’m a sucker for a challenge.

Mr. Ellingsworth and his ideas.

Sooner or later, one of these days, one of us is gonna get killed!

LOL

What amount of craziness can I cram into one mix?

Well, we already know the answer to that one.

But how about this…40 tracks, 2 hours.

And yes folks that’s a legit 40 tracks, every one of them plays

Dare ya to figure out where they all are though.

Doing mix tapes for a personal trainer was one of my

first paying gigs back in the late 90’s

so when the challenge came to come up with a running

mix with some dubstep and a faster bpm than I usually mix

I couldn’t resist the challenge!

And I even threw in a personal challenge to myself.

Run 4 tables, not intermittently, but CONTINUOUSLY!

There are brief moments where less than 4 songs are playing at once,

but that’s the exception, not the norm this time!

So Meet Me At The Love Parade!

Get ready to go for the burn, cause this disc is ON FIRE!

Ok, did you get all that?

Did you catch that line up? Yeah, we’re going from 142 to 74 back up to 142

Please be careful if you ACTUALLY plan on working out with this mix.

It’s unrelenting from about the 10 minute mark till the 1hr 20 minute mark.

There are very few breaks, dips or pauses.  Please consult your physician if

you plan on starting a new workout regimen, and by all means work smart

not hard!

January Jump Off

Happy New Years.

Now that the holidays are over, and the time to get back to school

and work is quickly approaching us (for some, we’re back already)

I figured its time to kick the new year off right.

Grab your heels, Get your weave in order

Time for the Jump Off to the New Year!

Ending the year with the bang that was “December Decadence”

and lots of positive feedback on the style and flow on the mix,

plus with lots of new music for the new year.

So much new music, in so many different styles.

Kicking it up a notch,

this time I enlisted some unconventional help.

We’ve got some dubstep, d n b, trance, trip, wave, minimal, house, and the old standby…

TRIBAL!

I decided this time to gag you with an artist!

We’ve got Rihanna, Niki Minaj,

then we got Rihanna featuring Niki Minaj!

December Decadence

With the conclusion of last months series

November Knockin

How would I ever be able to top that?

Well, can you see left field?

Take a look a bit farther, you’ll see where I’m coming from with this one!

Patron, Rose, Nuovo

I got them bottles goin full throttle!

Dipping in a few pots that I usually don’t combine in one mix

we’ve got dubstep, drum n bass,

electro, electro-tribe, breaks,

and the styles keep rolling.

This mix is highlighting my favor for unsigned talent

Mad props goes out to DJ Aylen, you’re tracks ROCK!

All my Souncloud followers, feel free to tag your work.

For this installment, I went way out in left field to get it poppin.

I dropped not one, but TWO T-Pain tracks in one mix!

Fresh off his new joint “rEvolvEr”

Michael Jackson stops by with a fresh spin,

Jay Z & Kanye West hot from the Throne in Paris,

DJ Dirty Dee,

PleasureKraft,

Maroon 5 Feat. Christina Aguilera show us they definitely got the moves,

Rihanna,

Chris Brown begs ya to get a good gander,

Rogers S. Feat Natalia Kills

Missy Elliott re-surfaces from the graveyard,

Laidback Luke, Steve Aoki, & Lil John

Zxx  my buddy on Soundcloud

Boris Brejcha from Soundcloud

There’s enough guilty pleasure in this mix,

dirty beats, grimy bass, effected keys,

so grab a bottle and take it full throttle cause

err’body’s gonna be tappin on this mix!

NK4 Divas Edition

Well, this has been an exciting new month.

Its brought about some new developments

in the style department

here at DJ Nave E.com

SO, we wanted to close the

November Knockin’

Series out correctly.

So what better way to celebrate the 4th installment

than by mixing it on 4 TABLES!

Yeah  about time, and FINALLY

all at the same time!

I guarantee you, these divas…

they are only about one thing

WERRRK!

This one delivers big beats and legendary vocals.

Including Mrs. Aretha herself,

along with Charlotte,

Rihanna,

Christina Aguilera

Terri B

Avicii

Goldffrapp

Deborah Cox

Inaya Day

Need I say more? I think these divas

got this edition on LOCK!!!

All being mixed by yours truly on 4 tables

we had to make sure we closed the

November Knockin series right and

make sure it lives up to its name.

Enjoy!

We’ve got you SURROUNDED…almost

let’s try this again!!!

So come out with your HANDS UP!

Get ready to get your groove on in a whole new fashion.

Yes, here at DJNaveE.com, I’ve always tried to ensure

of some pretty high sonic standards.

This time around, I’ve decided to up the ante quite a bit.

Not only instead of just making sure that I balance and master

the tracks to sound great on regular headphones and speaker systems

this time I’ve taken the added step to make sure that if you are

bangin these mixcasts on your surround sound system

you’ll get improved sonic quality

custom mastered for a 5.1 environment!

November Knockin Part 3 in Stereo

With the holidays rapidly approaching and with a ton of some new tracks

quite a few old ones, and a boat load of new software, it’s time to crunch out

some banging new mixes.

At the suggestion of a couple of fans who like the longer mixes

instead of the split ones that require you add them to a playlist,

I decided that it is time for a full length banger.

This one is on the electro, 8bit, and naturally minimalistic tip.

There are over 35 tracks spanning just short of 3 hours (by a few minutes).

Ann Nesby makes a revisit, this time in a slightly different fashion.

I’ve got some S Club 5  (yeah its ripped right out of the video game)

Kaskade and some of his new banging mashups make an appearance

Adam Beyer, Nicky Romero, Tommy Trash

the one and only Cajmere

Green Velvet

and a few new tracks that are unavailable, and heard here exclusively by

Fredda L (banging track absolutely banging)

Peter Pitzzutelli (you need to look this dude up)

Eddie Thoneick

Erick Deeks & Lauren Neko

Suzanne Vega (yes, AGAIN!)

brought up a really good oldie from iiO

Afrojack

Deniz Koyu

Christina Aguliera

Amy Winehouse

and the list goes on and on, and so do these beats.

This mix was done with a nice electro-minimalist vibe, and has some interesting presence.

It was so good, I had to embark on a new sonic mission I’ve had for over 10 years

I mastered this version of the mix to have regular stereo separation,

HOWEVER

in case you are one of those audiophiles, and you have an awesome system

or you just like to bang things out on your surround sound system

you might want to take a listen to the 5.1 mixdown version

that’s featured on the next posting!

Veterans Day Disc 2

With such a stellar beginning, how could I just end a disc like that?

How wrong of me I know, but then again, I’ve got the cure

DISC 2 is here with more of the madness!

Yeah more DJ Funk

More Sneak

and for this one…

BON JOVI!

I know, I lost my mind.

ENJOY!

Veterans Day 2011 Disc 1

Unfortunately, with the recent demise of the HCBD series of mixes

(R.I.P.)

and with the special day being 11-11-11

I had been mulling over this idea for quite some time.

I figured, why not make something a bit more fun than usual.

I wasn’t originally planning on making it for Veterans.

It doesn’t have much of a military theme to it either.

It’s just that it’s an unbridled let your hair down good time!

First off, this is the new mix as a result of the massive technology infusion of October.

The new lappy, new OS’es, and lots of other goodies have been tossed in.

With that, there has also been the massive procurement of music,

and a getting in touch with some old friends with some old goodies.

Where do I begin? I don’t know where I get these ideas, but for example…

who in a minimal mix throws in Nirvana?

ME

Jodeci? Wait wait, did I really type that…

YUP I dug up Jodeci!

CZR?

Me

Toss in some Danny Teneglia, Rosabel, Boris Rush,

This one is way to crazy to describe, and being spatially mixed for 5.1 enjoyment

Let’s say this one is audacious.  I hope you like it!
