Took a few weeks off,
saw some sights,
heard some sounds,
time to get back to work!
I’m sure, once you’re done listening to it, you’ll feel like you’ve done the same.
ENJOY, I know I did.
Well now, ok, you thought I could just stop?
You thought all I had was that one disc?
You know thats not how I roll!

What would the dance world be without Divas?
They make the songs we love to hearĀ and sing along with.
All the while doing it in such style, grace, and vocal prowess.
Making sure to leave their mark not only on our ears and hearts,
but also on the charts and dancefloors worldwide.
With those thoughts, and Palm Sunday approaching,
This newest series of mixes was born.
More affectionately entitled Divas,
the first round in this series was called
“Divas Beaten By Palms”
Originally a continuous mix, I decided to split it into
two full length CD sets for easier burning, downloading et al.
The cover speaks for itself, and is just a sampling of some of the greats
whose beats I work into a frenzy.
Everyone from Kylie,
Cher,
Janet,
Rihanna,
and even the quintessential diva herself…
Annie Lennox!
Of course, is that all the ones you can expect to hear?
I wouldn’t be DJ Nave E if it was.
Get ready, cause it’s time for some Palm Action…
with a little help from DJ Aulden Brown down in Miami
your version is the only Born This Way that I play…
With this being the final disc of the 4 disc set
did you think we were about to go out quietly?
OF COURSE NOT
More bombastic bass
hard hitting beats
and trippy effects

Not fully assured that we’re being on our best of
Neighborly Behavior but so far no complaints!
Time to keep knocking till someone lets us in!
Wait, that’s YOU!!!
Open the door, warm up the subs,
and Kitty…Bar the Door!
Disc 3 is in full effect.
I could spend time going over who is all in here.
Honestly, I couldn’t begin to remember to tell you.
I’ve listened to this mix over 25 times,
and well the songs fly in and out.
You know me, you’ll figure it out.
Or you just won’t really care like always, and the beat will be what matters!
After any good party, you know there is always the chance
that one slight sliver, that says, ooh crap
this is gonna get us busted!
Well, after realizing the dangerous potential
of There Goes The Neighborhood
I decided to play a bit more friendlier
So hence Neighborly Behavior’s contribution to the
HCBD Series
First up installment gets the honors to grace
the following artists
Faithless
Mariah Carey Feat. Niki Minaj
Dubfire
Lil Louis
The Neighborly Behavior continues in the 2nd
Part of this 4 part set.
Deadmau5 Fet Michael Woods
Avicii
Jennifer Lopez
are just a few of the names that join the foray
2 down 2 more to go.
That’s how Nave E does a show.
towards the end of this one, it takes a bit of a side step, but
hey that’s God’s Love for ya.
Well what retrospective would be complete
without an exploration into why there was
a HCBD Series.
I’m sure once you hear this
you’ll understand why the title is
“There Goes The Neighborhood”
As my good friend Walter put it…
“You let me know what neighborhood
THAT is cause I wanna move in!”
The beats and keys on here are just amazing
the atmospherics just short of orchestral
another amazing mix
Afrojack
Green Velvet
tons more minimal goodies..
and for those really curious…
my take on Style of Eye’s “Girls” is re-edited
and used in this one!
For all you Monster’s Ball fans…
How did this mix ever disappear???
