Chicago has been the birthplace to many of the most siginificant
influences in music in the 20th and 21st Centuries.
Jazz, Blues, House, Techno.
Well, what has been really unexplained,
is why you can’t find a proper venue or station
that will allow you the pleasure of hearing it done like it was in the old days.
Where are the BIG ROOMS?
Where are the whareHOUSEs?
Where are the tribal paths?
Where can you go to just LOOSE IT?
Well, with those pressing questions on my brain,
I’ve wondered what to do about this draught.
Wanting to play a proper venue, I realized.

So, the 5th Floor Gorilla
decided to take things into his own paws
